Personalized Instruction with Patty Ray Guckes

Enjoy all levels of instruction using acrylics, oils, or pastels, with emphasis on composition and material handling, as well as basic color theory.

“Learn as you paint” instruction, while developing your own style.

Each student may paint the subject of their choice: portrait, self-portrait, landscape, seascape, pets, birds, animals, or still-life.

Patty Ray has 45 years of painting experience and has recently retired from 13 years of teaching art at the Ocean City Arts Center. She has also enjoyed helping high school students prepare portfolios.

Classes are for ages 12-90!! Classes are held in the Parish Hall of St. John’s on:
Thursdays 10:30 am- 12:30 pm
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Saturdays 10:30 am- 12:30 pm
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
