usic is central to worship life at St. John’s. Our choir, though small, is dynamic and growing. We sing on most Sundays during the academic year. Our repertoire includes psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from diverse cultures as well as traditional anthems from across the centuries. Not only do we sing well, but we have a lot of fun doing it!

We always welcome others to join us in proclaiming God’s Word in song. Regardless of your musical background, ability to read music, or previous choral experience, you are invited to join us in telling the old, old story in a new song at St. John’s. If you are unable to make a long-term commitment, but wish to sing, we invite you to join us for Festival Choir, which sings on major feast days with 2-3 rehearsals beforehand. Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Rehearsals and services for Festival Choir are as announced; or contact the Director of Music for more information.
